diagnosing 1993 Del Sol S question
yes, i did read the ECU thread, and yes i tried doing what it said in there, but here is the question: when i look at my plug next to the ECU under my dash, i not only see 1 plug, but....2. Both plugs are 2 wire plugs, plug 1 has a brown wire and a green/white wire. Plug number 2 also has a green/white wire and the other wire on the plug is blue. Now this was not in perfect light conditions so these colors might be a little off. but what it comes downn to is that i have 2 plugs and i dont know how to do a diagnostic on it, i unfortuantly can not take it to like advance auto parts and plug it into their handheld device there. i tried every single combination of jumping the wires that i can think of. I jumped each plug seperatly, i jumped both plugs at the same time, i tried the other 4 combos: grn/wht on grn/wht. grn/wht on brown. grn/wht on blue. and brown on blue. This might be a stupid question, and i might get flamed for it, but i just really needed to know this information.
thanks a bunches,
Carlos

one of 2 things happen everytime i jump the wire, my CEL stays on constantly, or just goes off after the bulb check. when i jump one plug it just stays on and when i jump the other one it turns off, now i dont know exactly which one it does when i jump what plug, but i can double check that quick if i need to
