I was driving today and it was fine all day. then all of a sudden it didnt want to go into 4th. then 3rd and 2nd and 1st. So i tried playing with it and now 1st, 2nd, 3rd works but 4th still doesnt go in. I have to force it in then it would go in. I tried chaging the tranny fluid it got a little better but still doesnt want to go in. Does anyone know the answer?

does it go in gear when you are parked with the motor off?

 

It goes in gear except for 4th even when the car is started or off

 

seems like its the trasmission

 

Check your clutch fluid. If it's full, either your transmission or clutch is busted and you need to remove the tranny to check on either.

 

alright thanks guys but i dont have the tools to remove it.
