i've got a scratched window in my civic, it has limo tint all the way around and looks horrible. i searched the internet for about an hour and couldn't find anything. i've tried hardcore rubbing compund and it didn't touch them. am i stuck buying new windows and retinting them or is there something out there to fix them?

 

is the scratch on the inside or outside?

is the scratch deep enough to catch your fingernail if you run it over the scratch?

if you awnsered yes, it might be able to be fixed? see below

if you awnsered no, it can be buffed out with special glass compound most windshield shops have this service, if not i know JCWhitney has a kit for like $30 buck to remove scratches

I had some scratches on the outside of my side windows and a local glass guy buffed them right out cost me like $50 to do two windows and the windows looked awesome

 

thanks, i think i'll leave it to the pros. i'll still save around $200 not having to replace and retint the windows
