Default swapping steer rack not conversion, help!

I just read matts whole thread on converting a power steering rack into a manual power steering style rack by looping the lines and adding a breather resevoir but i want to just totally swap out my PS rack, pump and resevoir for a manual steering rack. I have acess to manual racks and other parts at my local autowreckers but the question is what exactly do i need to install a manual rack into a car that has a power rack? Do i need other brackets? adapters? bolts?

https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=1

i just read this whole thread and learned alot but its about conerting a power rack to a manual style rack not swapping the racks out.

Thanks is advance and yes i searched!

When you go to the yard to get the manual rack, just get all the parts they removed to take it off. The coupler from the steering wheel to the rack is different PS to manual so, you need the manual coupler.

grab the coupler, the 2 10mm bolts holding that coupler in, the rack, and 2 mounts. one mount is rather large and should be held in 4 bolts. The second are 2 "u" shaped mounts held together with 2 bolts. all thats left is the tie rods and the coupler. once you are underneath the car it is really straight forward.

also if yo u are putting the manual rack on a power steering subframe, you will have to work with the bushings to get the rack to bolt up. I know on the drivers side the manual bushing is too small for the subframe. I have a manual rack on an integra subframe and needed to trim the manual bushing and then add a power bushing on top of the manual bushing. so far it's been 15K miles and no issues.
