3 stage vtec?? what is it??

It's exactly what it says .... three stage VTEC.
Under a certain RPM range, one of the lobes spins freely, allowing for 3-valve combustion, which allows the air to swirl, and drop fuel consumption.
In the second stage (above said RPM range), the motor runs on all four valves with a rather mild lobe.
In the third stage, it passes a second RPM range, and a secondary lobe is locked into place, giving it a more aggressive cam profile, upping fuel, air, and spark.

i agree, most that care to know dont have the skill or knowledge to get it working correctly, or even USEFULLY, and have no CLUE as to why its actually beneficial. oh, and i wasnt saying you dont know what it is or how it operates or anything, just MOST people know the basics and thats it.
