help on cai
i need a little advice.
i'm in the market for a cai. it rains frequently in my area so i've been reading
on the air bypass valves from aem. is running the cold air intake in the rain
a risk for hydrolocking? i've been reading that the end of the intake must
be fully submerged to run the risk of hyrdolocking but i'm not completely sure.
thanks

if you get a cai and it rains alot then i recomment getting a bypass valve. you dont have to be submerged in water in order to hydro-lock. you can go over a puddle and splash just enough to hydro-lock and it will be a alot to fix compared to getting a $50 bypass valve to be safe.
bypass > no bypass
bypass > no bypass
