dash wiring hardness question

Default dash wiring hardness question

i have a 89 si crx and i was wondering if i could plug up my 90-91 under dash wiring hardness into the 89 fusebox ? will it work ?

by dash harness you are referring to the seperate harness that has all the plugs for the radio,clock,cluster and accessories right? not the harness that connects to the ECU,lights and such?
you can use the 90-91 but you will have to repin the cluster connectors for the cluster to work

yeah the one for cluster, climate control and all. i was going to use the 90-91 cluster as well with the bezel anyway. so i was wondering if it would plug right up into the 89 crx fuse box and the climate control from the 89 and all will still work on the 90-91 wiring hardness..

cant say for sure on the fusebox but i believe it is the same for all the years of the ef...everything else will definitely work

i mean i dont have the wiring hardness under the dash but there a junkayrd here has a 91 crx si with everything on the dash

88-89 cluster harness are diff then the 90-91, if thats what you are looking for, the tach and some other gauge doesnt work when you plug the wrong year harness in

yeah i know they are different but what i meant is get the whole 90-91 under dash hardness so thatway i wounldnt have to hack anything up.. besides i need a under dash hardness since i dont have any for my crx
