What kind of starter should I get?
If I have a choice I like the one that has a real crisp "tuner" crank but I thought I remember hearing about a "lifetime" starter, I'm assuming with a lifetime warranty, if thats the case where do I buy one, I'm looking for reliability over anything else, to an extent even price.
Or is it possible I can rebuild my starter for even cheaper and have the same reliability of a new one?

Just get a Denso. If they weren't the best Honda wouldn't use them. And the sound can be greatly affected by by using different spark plugs, that and how much the starter has been used.
I think I will just rock the denso, keep in mind just because Honda used them dosen't make them the best, just likely the best value/reliability. Denso it is, thanks.
alright, confused, advance auto has like 6 different starters, some are by nassundenso or something, same as Denso I assume. I also see some with "lifetime replacement warranty" or "limited lifetime warranty" is their a difference? My decision somewhat teeters on it.
Nah, this sometimes won't even click, its no click or crank, no inbetween yet. I hit it with a hammer and bingo, that was the ticket. Going to grab a new starter pretty soon here.
