I have an oval magnaflow with custom 2.25" piping with a resonator with a 95 gsr motor. Sounds great. Nice deep tone. Looks stock too

i have one, its really deep and nice sounding, but its loud. i believe they are straight thru. i love it because here, its not about how loud your exhaust is, its about what it looks like(hence getting pulled over for a huge can). these look stock

I have a magnaflow oval on my car with 2 inch piping. Overall I like the sound not too loud with a pretty good tone. My only complaint is a little bit of rasp around 3500 rpm. If you want me to take a video of it send me a pm.

I just recently bought my EK with a MagnaFlow on it and that **** is super loud. Even thought it's a turbo exhaust I would never thought it to be this loud.

Would seriously like to put a silencer in it one day to silent that biatch out a bit.

When you get the muffler installed ask the muffler shop if they can rig it on your you car to hear what it sounds like with the muffler then silencer + muffler.

Some shops will do that.

You need a resonater on that thing. The thing about magnaflows is that for the most part they are all straight through desing which is great for power but a little rough on the ears. I always reccomend a resonater whenever someone purchases a muffler.

i have a magnaflow oval on my hatch, and it isnt that loud at all. you can hear it, but not anything you cant easily talk over. i had a universal grapefruit shooter muffler for a little while, and it was louder than my magnaflow. nice deep sound, but not loud or raspy. i have a resonator on mine and it sounds great.

and here is a pic, i painted mine black...

ES Tuning Muffler FTW. You can have it polished or black.

Here is a link to a video of my exhaust.

I think the volume is just right, not noticable at idle or normal driving and a good volume at WOT and during spirited driving. However I hate the tone. Above about 3500 rpm it is raspy. It wasn't like that when it was first installed, but the tone started to change about a month after I got it. I don't know if that is common or if anyone has heard of that happening. I should probably get a resonator, and I probably will but I don't want to lose too much volume. Anyway enough rambling.
