Default BB6 Prelude / Accord Dashes in a BB4 Prelude

Hey guys,

I'm about to pick up a Prelude, and I absolutely can't tolerate the dash / gauge cluster setup in these cars.

I've seen it done a few times, were people rig up the dashes and clusters from the newer Preludes into the BB4's, and I was curious as to how this was achieved. Also, I was curious if the same generation Accord dashes fit in the Prelude as well?

Let me know,

Thanks,

Justin

I think it's pretty much impossible to transplant BB6 gauges into the BB4 cluster. I've never seen it, that's for sure.

we go through this every year. a 4th gen dash takes time to get used. but once you do you'll absolutely love it. so get over it. the lude is an original car, take it or leave it.

The 4th gen dash/interior is dope, please don't molest a 4th gen - they deserve better.

everything is possible, all depends on how creative you are. I seem to recall the thread about the dude with the RWD H22 DC2 and he got a BB6 dash into the integra, so why not. At the end of the day you should be doing what you want to your car, fellow luders might not agree, but in essence eff em, they arent paying. Its not something i personally would do as the 4th gen dash will never age, and the reason they never evolved this dash to the 5th gen, because you can't improve on perfection.

4g dash is sweet...the 5g's looks like every other car's. people say it feels like a spaceship when i start it and all the lights come on...bitches dig it haha and im sure itll grow on you...leave the dash, change the squeeky center console pieces and glovebox

civic

5th gen prelude

accord

crx

integra

Are we seeing a pattern here?
let's leave our unique dash alone......go buy one of these other cars if you don't like it
