Default what kind of piping should i use to fab an axle back exhaut...

i am just trying to weld a muffler to some new tubing, and then weld that to a flange which THEN can be bolted onto the stock exhaust. (specs are 2.5 inlet to muffler) I need to know the degree of bends nessecary to complete an axle back bolt on exhaust, or materials such as like 1 straight pipe and 2 j bends... would really help if anyone knew.

You could probably get by with two 180s (one if you're clever), no straight needed.

If you are looking for every last bit of power and are attempting to keep weight to a minimum, then yes. They are optimal.

well hes all riced out and rockin a d15 i dont think he cares about every last bit of power. Just pick up some bends from your local parts store, they will be cheaper.

If that's the case, just get it bent at an exhaust shop.

well i want to get some tubing that looks half way decent (not the ugly crush bent pipe at PEP-BOYS) so i am going to see how some local muff shops bend thier piping.

BTW: my screen name has no relevance to my car, infact, this aftermarket can will be the first non OE item on it... i just thought my screen name flowed nice. anyone else have advice?
