Default Best Bang For Buck Mods.

I was just browsing around the forums and saw many people asking what they should do to up the performance of their CRX/EF and how much it'll cost to do so. I'm not trying to write everything out since I have hardly any mods to begin with, but I was thinking that it would be cool to see how everyone has spent their money to create the amount of power that they are at now .

actually honda did creat a 3 stage vetec... 3-door EG4 VTi and the 4-door EG8 Ferio VTi

but best bang for the buck for motor mounts i would say the motor mount inserts from energy suspension.. for all four it was about $40 shipped

i spent about $15k on my last ef hatch.

it lasted about 2 hours on the dyno.

not exactly what i would call cost effective.

if i give you a complete mod list will you promise not to do what i did?

The best bang for the buck would probably be nitrous. It was the first mod I did on my hatch. 90 si when from 17s to 15s in the ¼ mile. When I did my b16 swap it took it down to 14 flat @100mph w/full int and a/c. not bad for $500 bucks probably find a used set-up for much less . I’m far from that now, but it was fun back in the day.

doing an mpfi swap on your std would give you approx an additional 10bhp.

could cost between free and $300 depending on who you get the stuff from and what mood they're in. do a search and you'll find a diy.

Best mod for me by far has been the B20 and the stuff to make it work.

Here're the key items:
• JDM B20 $450-600
• LS gear box $150-400
• HASport mount kit with shift linkage $550/650 (cable/hydro)
• Hondata S300 $600

You might save some money here or there, but I really think the HASport and Hondata stuff is worth every penny. Great products, outstanding service and a good dealer nextwork of people who "get it". I have heard so many horror stories about bad-tunes on cheap or free ECU software that it just doesn't seem worth the risk. Do it one, do it wright.

LOL bestest post ever.

What's going wrong is threads that WILL be flame fests and jokes being left open.

Leave a steak on the table in a dog house don't cry when your dinner is gone.

HT has been this way day one, one crusade will not change it it'll just alienate the few remaining members that still know how to change there own oil.

Why don't you post what best bang for buck is then, all I see from your post is OT being you already deleted anything you deemed unfit.

As you can see i'm being respectful, not that will matter will it?

I've ran your bullying and social/moral highground game into a corner. Maybe you can enjoy your own advice of if you don't like it don't post? Before you rebuttal of i'm a mod that does warrent credit. Why not just close and walk away, instead of imposing some will...

I want my kills avatar back >-> and i'm sick

This is what I was looking for . I was just wondering what YOU guys consider to be the "best-bang-for-buck" mods.

For me, I would have to say that the best thing that I am going to have purchased is a D16A6. Going for around 100$-200$, this has to be one of the best things you can do to your non-SI car since everything bolts straight in!

Bullying? What are you talking about? I'm not the one sitting on the computer and crying about this thread being stupid now am I? This is the internet..., I don't care what you or anyone says.

That's a funny comment though... "Bullying and social/moral highground game into a corner..." Please show me where I have been bullying or trying to show "social/moral highground". Heck, I never even edited the initial post so I don't know what you're talking about?

Whenever I get a car that I want to mod, I always want to start by making it breathe easier. Intake/Header/Exhaust.
