camber kit for 91 civic hb dx
any of you using the ingalls or progress camber kit on your EF's. My 91 civic is on coilovers and tokico blues and has really bad camber and toe. It's lowered about 2 inches. it has toe in the rear as well do these camber kits work good and how about for the rear will washers help with the toe as well or i've seen some toe anchors for the rear i was wondering if it's the same as the camber anchors in the rear or something different? Thanks for any help i've searched and couldn't find much
Hopefully I can help...
For your toe...just get an alignment. You can ask them to adjutst toe and camber. For camber kits, Skunk2 offers one for the rear that's highly reputed. My 91 hatch is lowered on the Sk2 coils, but I left the rear camber alone. However, your front camber might need some attention. I hate ball-joint camber kits or whatever the hell those things are, so I went with a kit from Chassis-Tech.com. However...you'd better be ready to do some work in the fenders to make this kit work properly. However, it's the whole upper control arm. I trust it. It has yet to let me down. I'm happy I went with it...

Your car already has toe adjustment ability from the factory. You don't need to buy any extra parts.
As for camber adjustment, at 2 inches lower than stock I can't imagine that your camber is far enough out of specification to pose a problem. What are the current camber measurements in front and rear? If you're around -2 degrees or so, I wouldn't bother buying extra parts to adjust it - just leave the camber be, and set the toe to 0.00 at all 4 corners.

i made a mistake i put that i had tokico blues but i just bought them there not on the car yet right now it has stock shocks that i'm pretty sure are blown cause when it they hit any little bump bounce a lot and in the rear it's really low as if they were completely gone. well in the rear it doesn't seem to waste tires but in the front the passenger side tire wears out completely and has camber wear a lot. thanks for the help any other advice would be appreciated

How do you know that camber is causing the uneven wear?
With years of experience doing 4-wheel alignments on both stock and lowered vehicles with a Hunter alignment rack, I'll be willing to bet you that your right front wheel is toed out, and that you're mistaking severe inside shoulder wear caused by toe out for "camber wear."
With your ride height at 2 inches lower than stock, your camber settings cannot be far enough out of specification to significantly affect tread life.

by camber wear i mean that on the inside of the tire you could see the metal things and by toe cause the whole tire gets bald really quick it only took three weeks cause when i got the tires they had a lot of thread left about 85% or so. but i could be wrong though that's just what i think since i don't have experience with alignments or anything like that

I can guarantee you that none of that wear was caused by camber. It is all due to the toe - even the inside shoulder wear down to the steel belts.
Get a new set of tires, then have your tire/alignment shop set the toe to exactly 0.00 at all four corners, and ignore the camber. Make sure that you ask them for both before and after printouts for the alignment. Post the alignment specs in this thread and I'll be able to advise you on where to go from there.

replaced my shocks with new tokico blues cause my stock ones were worn out and went ahead and bought the progress camber kit and it works great my tires don't waste how they used too in two weeks or so. i can't see any wear so far and i haven't even done an alignment.
