evap valve i think thats the name for it

there should be a diagram to hook it up on the under side off the hood

so.. what does it mean if it's unhooked? It's been running like that. without it being plugged somewhere.

if its unhooked and its not throwing a CEL then the ecu might have been chipped to earse that sensor and you won't neet it but you can still hook it up and plug it in its not very hard

 

if it was the evap you wouldnt be able to pass smog haha nor bar! but from that pic i really cant tell you what the expletive it is..

 

connects to the intake manifold.

one vacum line runs from the charcoal canister to it.

 

its junk lol only an emission thing and if you dont have an evap charcol canister its useless
