Default Complete motors?

Where would be the best place on here to find complete motors that other members are selling? I can find all kinds of parts and such, just not full motors. Thanx

Have you tried the marketplace on here? Try searching and looking around the site.

Yeah I mean I tried the marketplace but what I meant was a.) is there anywhere on here that has just motors for sale and b.) does anyone know of sites for motors. Cause ebay sucks.

Yeah, why get shafted by paying a decent amount for a crap engine on ebay when you can get shafted for a decent engine and a large amount on hmotors..

hmotorsonline.com is highly overpriced in my opinion. Totaled car is what I'd recommend. Totaled LS = Complete LS changeover plus all the B series equip you need for another B series conversion. That's like 50 bucks. No warranty given though.

hmotors is high....really high...though you get good ****...so I guess it depends, if you have money to blow, hmotors it is...if you pay conservatively like myself, buying a possibly lesser motor for a MUCH lesser price is a lot better.

there is other places that sell cheaper complete engines than Hmotors but most of the other websites u have to buy the axles n shiftlinkage sep, while hmotors sells them all complete including axles n shift linakges and u can even add LSD for $300 extra...if u already have some parts like the axles n shift linkage or u rather just buy those sep. then ordering from other sites that dont include those and cheaper will be a better choice

See heres the kicker though, hmotors gives u the whole kit right? I dont need a whole kit just the motor xause Im not doing a changeover, im just replacing with stock engine. Im trying find a site with low mileage stock engines that come with warranty. And no junkyards around here in bf have that. Id be lucky to even find a d16y7 or 16y8 car around here, let alone with a complete engine.

ok wut car are u puttin this motor into...is it a civic with a d series or a b series? if its a b series then all u would need is just the engine since u can use alot of the parts from the stock b series if u have one...if u have a d series then u will need the complete changer that comes with everything u need to put the motor in and get it running...if u jsut want to buy an engine that just comes with head, tranny, block then ur gonna hve to buy all the other stuff sep. and thats more of a pain in the *** unless u got frens that ur gettin those parts from

i have a 96 civic dx that came stock out of the factory with a d16y7 and I blew it up, rod through block. So now I just need to replce it. I just need another d16y7. Dont even need the tranny cause its still good. I just need the motor with everything. Like dizzy, alternator, intake manifold, throttle body. etc. I cant use the leftovers from my old one cause I scraped it. I just have a 96 dx with and empty engine bay other than the radiator and such, all the hookups, tranny, heater core, battery etc.

i just found a website that they sell wrecked cars at. its http://www.ridesafely.com these are totaled cars so all you have to do it just get the car (which actually are prety cheap) then after you pull the motor you could maybe even keep the car for parts, or sell the shell to a junk yard for a few hundred bucks

Yep, thats all we ever deal with and recommend, engines are always super clean and strong running.

You can buy just long blocks from them.

I go to HMO all the time (like once a week for different mis. stuff for me and for my friends) HMO carries the cleanest motors and has warranty... over priced ? I don't think so! reasonable yes. at the end you decide who you give your money to!

HMO

And 200 bucks still yields a complete changeover from a totaled 'teg or EM1...

I don't know, just the way you look at it, I suppose.

Totaled cars FTW!!!!

Normally when a person says that they want a complete motor they mean everything. Now, the D series that H-motors sells is only $400 bucks or so, regardless if you need the rest of the stuff $400 isn't bad
