What kind of turbo Honda guy are you?
I keep trying to leave the Honda scene but the lure of cheap parts, easiest cars to work on keeps me.Hopefully after 07 i will do my last Honda and move on to rwd turbo cars.I need a turbo LS1 to fufill my life
for the next long while, it will be hondas, but in the future, i would like a RWD turbo.
These things are too easy to make power with.

i have come to the relization that i hate all cars. the only reason i built my car is that i already had it, and said what the hell. i am not honda for life, nor can i fford a supra. i am just going to continue to grow and progress with my car and see where it goes from there. people forget where i actually got my start. my first turbo car was a 87 t type he hee, and i would kill for another one. so i left my vote blank.

I had a civic boosted once. for like 2 weeks. sold it. just because i was suckered into buying a MKIII supra that my dad sold to a guy a long time ago, and ironically that guy was selling it again. so i bought that cuz my dad wanted to do something to it but never got the chance to since he passed away. so i did that something to the car, which it being a 1jz swap, full coilovers and thats it. all he wanted simple ****. then i had to sell it. family money trouble
now. i gots me a poor mans supra. 93 SC300

This year will be a good year for my turbo Honda (throwing in a built block and going for 375-400whp on pump gas), but I've already got my eyes on an E36 M3, 03-04 Cobra, STi, EVO, Supra, etc...for a new project in the next couple of years.
The two main factors that frustrate and turn me off to building another turbo Honda are theft and the wrong wheels spinning at full boost.

I just came back to the honda side. I left and did the whole Nissan thing.. S13 with a RB25DET in it.. It was really fun and fast and sounded insane.. But the problem was, everyone EXPECTS it to be fast.. And that isn't much fun IMO.
So I sold that, got an evo and upgraded it to the hills and back.. Making 420 awhp on pump fuel and 515 on race fuel. Traction is so bad ***..
But I still missed having a high horsepower honda with traction problems. So I am rocking a cx eg with a built turbo motor and now I am happy again. I still have the evo and plan to keep it and the honda..
For some reason going fast in a tin can is just alot more fun

Gave a buddy of mine who owns a 400whp 240sx in my car, he was freaking out cuz the car is so light and I suffer from this thing called torque steer.

Im buying a house now, I need too, I have too. For now everything is going until I figure out away to have another project car, I love hondas and will always love working and researching on them but to have a SFWD car at 21 is hard.

Project: Fox body stang, some type of blown 60's muscle car or a turbo'd 57-67 bug.
New dd: sti, evo, gto, audi, bmw 3 series tt sedan......
Not gonna get rid of my ej1 tho, its fun to see the faces people make when you pull on them and you're not supposed to.

i'm on my 3rd motor and if this one breaks fuckit i'm done...yeah they're easy to make fast but even easier to break. how many people honestly don't get nervous when pushing a highly modified honda hard? every time i'm relieved that nothing broke, but its only a matter of time...if i need something fast i'll get a corvette or gto...something you can beat the hell out of all day without worrying.
I'm stuck on my Honda for a while, I am just about to finish a very costly build.
I'll probably be into it for a few more years and then it will be time to move on in life. Get married, have kids, build a house, then get back into high performance cars if they still run on gasoline lol. Who knows, maybe in another ten years we will all be modifying electric cars.
