i was thinking of buying a 2'25inch cheap exhaust system just for the piping and gonna buy a different muffler to get welded is that a good idea or should i just buy a complete brand name exhaust?

 

You get what you pay for..2 1/4 sounds like a good place to start, unless you are looking to go turbo! But I'd say an Apexi World Sport it's cheap, and the performance is fairly good GL...

 

The only bad thing I've seen on some of that cheaper stuff is the thin piping makes it noisy/raspy and sometimes they have bottle necks (not in the bends but by the connections).
