removing emblems?

I'm getting some body work done and I'm going to shave the ACURA (not the

) emblem.
Does anybody know if the "acura" on the drivers side of the lift gate is just stuck on, or are there holes that will need to be filled?

Any suggestions? Shave all emblems, remove the stickers? Change to
