Default fog light relay?

Hey I just got a set of foglights that I am going to put on my crx, they use the same bulbs as the sir/oem ones, so I assume the wiring should be the same. The foglights only came with a switch adn wires, and says to hook it up to a direct power source, switch , and ground, and that's it. I'm sure that would work but I was lookin at the SiR wiring and it includes a relay/s, so I dunno if I need/should put a relay somewhere in there, or if I can leave it alone since the original instructions didn't mention it. It also has some generic toggle switch. So could someone chime in and help a brotha out?

ok well I want the lights to turn on whenver I flip the switch, even if the lowbeams arent on. What relay do I need and how do i wire it up? I couldn't find much info on this cause I don't want the fogs to only be on with the headlights.

you have to look on the diagram for the particular relay you have but they usually have 4 terminals that need to be hooked up. one is ground, one goes to the lights one is constant 12v power and the other is the switched power. the way I usually do it is hook the fogs up to the relay, wire the constant power directly to the fuse box under the hood with a inline fuse(15amp should be fine) run the switched power to something that turns on when the car is on(like the radio power) and use an inline fuse for this as well(5 amp should be fine) and run the ground from the relay to the switch then from the switch to a good ground under the dashboard.

Cool cool, thanks. What kinda (part number, etc) relay shoudl I use. I know I can probably pick one up at autozone, but are they all the same? Do you know if I could use any of the relays that were used on my AC (I removed it but still have the stuff in the engine bay)? Also, can the 12v to the relay be from a source other then the fusebox, say maybe from my stereo?? I'm not sure how to wire something directly to the fusebox. Does this diagram seem right though...I tried to draw it out with some other info I knew....
