I have a fairly loud, metallic sounding rattle coming from the right rear, in the vicinity of the speaker in the rear deck or perhaps a bit lower. It does not happen on big bumps, but mainly on cracks in the road.

No, it's not the jack, the spare tire, or the rear seat. I have checked everything and tightened up everything possible, including the nuts holding the shock in place.

Although it's not at all loose, could it be the speaker itself? Any suggestions from members with similar problems?

Would appreciate your help.

have you looked at the speaker cover? or possibly the plastic lining behind the rear seat? have you tightened the speaker itself? I don't have a CB5 so I dunno what else to tell ou from the top of my head. I would suggest taking out the trunk lining and see if you spy anything
