Default what can i do to fill these gaps? (double din install)

i'm installing a double din indash dvd player (Pioneer AVH-P6800DVD) into my civic and the screen fits perfectly this way <------->, but it's lacking in height. is there anything i can buy to like make some kind of screen? i bought the screen as a "display model" from fry's and all i got was the screen and wiring harness itself only.

here's a few pics for reference:

is there some kind of abs plastic thing i can buy or make?

i knew i should've gotten the single din. lol

Once it's properly secured to the factory brackets, you can adjust it up and down to split the difference.

Second, once it's installed in the dash, and since you won't have the ambient light shining through like you do on the bench, you won't even see the gaps.

But if you really want to, you could get some black plastic (ABS) and cut some thin strips and attach them to the top & bottom of the deck once it's screwed down...

sorry but its vehical specific, and does not work with his car. Plus its 30-40 buxs. This kit that can be found for like 15-20 will save him cash and do the same thing.
