49mm offset???
Hello LazJDM: The original wheel specifications for the 2004-2005 Si is as follows:
Wheel Size: 16" x 6.5"
Offset: 45mm
Center Bore: 64.1mm (<FONT COLOR="red">VERY IMPORTANT!</FONT>)
Regarding the 16" x 7" wheels (with 49mm offset) you are inquiring about. Yes, they will fit your 5-lug Si, provided the center bore (which plays a drastic role) is accurate. The reason the wheels are 49mm is to compensate for the additional half inch width it has over stock. As you may or may not know, many aftermarket wheels are sold with a larger center bore (and multiple lug holes) in order to fit many other car brands. You need to confirm whether or not this particular wheel has the proper center bore (64.1mm) for your Si, or does it come with hub-centering rings, which I am very much opposed to. If the wheel is not bored to fit directly on the hub, you will feel the vibration on your steering wheel and add unnecessary stress on your hub studs, which can eventually lead to stud failure.
If you were to upgrade to a factory original OEM wheel (i.e. CIVIC TYPE-<FONT COLOR="red">R</FONT> 17" X 7"), you would get a 7" wide wheel with the 45mm offset and 64.1mm center bore. Only factory wheels provide this exact offsetting. There is and exception, however. The 2006 and newer CIVIC Si 17" x 7" wheel (which is 45mm offset and has a 64.1mm center bore) will not fit the front hub of a 2004 - 2005 Si. Why? The spoke design of the 2006 and newer Si (spokes from outer wheel point inwards towards hub - concave) and will rub your front brake caliper.
There are some companies out there (i.e. HRE) where you can custom order wheels to exact factory specifications. But that gets very expensive.
And finally, as was suggested to you, the proper tire size for a 16" X 7" wheel is the factory OEM size 205/55-16. Hope this helps...

dam im scared trying those wedsports out.never seen that offset of 49 tried out lol.i like work emotions also but there f'ing heavy.might have to go with my first choice of 16inch eneki rpf1 for auto-x.
Yup, they'll fit fine. Thinking about it more (after posting in your thread on ephatch), the only concern I'd have would be clearance from the trailing arm in the rear. The 16x7 +45 Rotas I've got have a thumb tip's worth of clearance, though, so you'd have space for bringing the wheels inboard 4 mm.
Depending on a tire manufacturer's recommendations, you could fit as wide as 225 on them if you need to. 225/50 would have an identical outer circumference as stock.
Finding hub rings shouldn't be much of a problem. By contrast, I'm having a hell of a time finding rings to fit a set of Rays wheels I've got (64.1 mm hub, 70 mm centerbore) -- they're not a typical aftermarket wheel and appear to have been originally made to fit Mustangs.
