i would like to appoligize regarding my last fuel line topic, but i made mistake regarding measurements and sort of thing. well i realised the line i have is -6 (didnt know the US Army/Navy measurements and thought they were metric)...anyway my fuel line setup is gonna be -6 feed and -6 return...i have all fittings, connectors, lines and parts to complete my fuel setup, BUT i had small doubt here....do you think brazing a steel fitting into my steel fuel cap a good idea? well will it leak?

Why not just put the hose on the tubing with a hose clamp or two? Even if the brazing is nice and tight right now, when you tighten the hose down, you risk the chance of breaking the joint.

 

your stock feed is almost the same size as -6 line , seriously I would not have wasted the time or money

 

if anything you could have put an AN compression fitting on there and save your self the time of brazing it on.

those lines dont even look -6an they look like -4an if anything but maybe its just your picture

i thought stock feed is close to -5 and going to -6 is an improvement! i was told i dont need to run -8 on 91 OR pump gas!

i dont know if this is gonna change the subject but this is my fuel line setup:

1- 255lph HP fuel pump
2- feed is -6 and return is -6 (the one in the pic is around 9.6mm, forgot what it was in inches, but i beleive its -6)
3- Aeromotive 10 Micron fuel filter
4- Aeromotive adjustable FPR
5- BDL fuel rail
6- 750cc fuel injectors

well i actually wanted -8 feed and -6 return, but the seller recommend me this setup since he told me that the fuel pump gonna weak out using the -8 feed! what do you guys think?

is there something wrong here? am overseas and getting AN fittings is difficult for me since i have to order them and shipping costs a leg! i just wanna know if i could still go with this setup or not? and whats the whp i can reach to with -6 feed and -6 return?

am thinking of using two spanners one against the other to tighten the lines on the cap nice and tight thats with the cap off the tank then fit the cap on the tank afterwards!

From looking at your fuel setup..... you should be fine running stock lines with walbro and 750cc injectors... the stockers will provide more than enough fuel.
