Default insurance

Hey i am looking to get an itr and i called the insurence company to get a quote and the payment increased 3000 dollars a year so that is at least 200 dollar payment a month for the itr. I was wondering if that was a reasonable amout and how much you guys were paying, and if there were any cheap insurence companies i could contact. Thanks

All companies are different, all drivers are different.

you cannot get an answer from any of us in here that will be of any use to you...

we may not be your age, live in the same area, have the same driving record or credit history...

in addition, insurance policies varied in price drastically depending on which company you get a quote from even when all things are equal

there's too many factors that vary with insurance rates.

given that you didn't spell the word insurance right I'm going to take a stab that you're young so that's probably a fair rate.

I'm 24 with a clean record and I pay close to $75 a month.

You're right, I'm young, and looking for some good advise from the more experienced members. I thought that someone might have some insight on insurance companies that are more reasonable than others. I'll take a look at the archives...

I live in a rural area in Virginia where theft is low, and I have a clean insurance record. If that helps any please give me some advise.

Thanks

You can compare quotes from lots of companies, specifically FOR YOU, on websites like Insweb.com and Insure.com.

I'm 24, I live in Chicago and I have clean record. My insurance policy is with Allstate and I pay around $100 a month. I also have only $50 deductible for collision and $0 for comprehensive. I do have a multiple policy discount and a premium discount, since I'm a customer for last 5 years.

Honestly bro your quote is extremely reasonable.

I paid that much for a 90 crx in 01..

a few years later when I was 19 with 1 ticket I was paying 2100 every 6 months for a 98 civic hatch..

If you have the opportunity to get USAA I suggest it.. however try getting quotes from progressive and insweb.

best of luck.
