Man, I've been to 4 dealerships looking for an EX coupe with a black interior and have come up with nothing each time. One tried to show me an Si and said it was basically the same (yea except for the seat and door materials and instrument colors, jeezus). Anyways, my strong preference is a silver EX coupe with black interior and AT for daily driving. And none of the dealerships i've been to (2 in Michigan and 2 in Minnesota) have had them! Are these in really low numbers and hard to find or something?

Looking at pics online just isn't enough!

 

hm... that's exactly why I got silver, back then the RR wasn't out and ASM was the only civic with black interior that wasn't Si

but no issues getting mine. My parents got mine through the costco program, but I did the research on the cars and who had what I was interested...

how many mile radius are you searching?

 

I did 2 dealerships in St. Paul MN suburbs and came up empty, and today on break went to 2 dealerships at least 10 miles apart in Detroit MI suburbs...i'm confused as hell why it's so hard to find

 

You know, somtimes, as I have learned, you have to broaden your search radius, and look out of state.

 

You know, the EX is probably the most popular for AT drivers that want more umph than the LX and can afford it. If the Si had an AT option, there might be more EXs available.

Go to a broker though! Talk to your bank to see if they have an auto broker. My girlfriend got the exact Jeep she wanted two days after she talked with her bank, and it was an awesome deal. WAY worth it.

 

I'm not sure if its the color, but I also had trouble getting my ASM EX coupe, I just went to the Honda dealership, and had THEM find me the car I wanted. The salesman drove 60 miles to trade another dealership for the Silver coupe because I too wanted to the black interior. I got a stick though, so good luck with the AT!!!

We're in exactly the same boat except for hte manual. I guess i'm not the only one then!

I don't want to bother the dealerships into trading cars because I just want to look inside one to make sure I want the black because i'm looking at a few cars.

ROFL I said twice now that I live in 2 different states and i've checked 2 dealerships in each state and i'm still walking away emptyhanded. There's a few more to look at but this is getting silly

LOL. I saw my Si on the delivery truck on the highway on the way to the dealership. Slowed down.....got behind it.....followed it into the lot. Salesman met me outside. I pointed and said "I want that one!". Simple as that. Lucky it wasn't sold. hehe.

Nah i'm still shopping around a few models, I just want to take a peek inside one to see the black interior. I don't have a good imagination Thanks though

 

the nhbp ex coupe does not come with black interior i believe. you would have to get an si.

 

actually, yes it does, in 07. They didn't offer it in 06. I have an 07 nhbp EX coupe with black interior. I love it.

I looked for that one as well and they didn't have it in stock in any of them. I would never buy the RR in real life though, I'm afraid a red civic coupe would basically be a ticket magnet.

I'm gonna head out to another dealership in MI before I go back to MN, hopefully it will have one.

&lt;----- So far, no tickets. I've got Skunk2 exhuast too, and have accelerated past cops "con gusto" and haven't gotten so much as a look. But, results may vary
