Default I'm looking for an All inclusive Security (or as close to it as possible)

Someone tried to steal my car the other night, but my neighbor scared them away. So needless to say, I'm looking for an alarm that will lock my car down like Fort Knox. 2-way paging, hood alarm, tilt sensor, window alarm, the whole nine yards. I also want a system that I'll be able to add another horn and a back up battery. I was thinking of the Compustar system and would like to know if anyone is running that security. I would also like multiple layers of kill switches and cut-offs, which I may add on my own. I'm looking for advice on which system I might go with. I have a clifford ignition cut off, along with LoJack (early warning system) already. Thanks for all input

If you want someone on to do the alarm install I would hit up wrx-killer he is in your area. In my car I have a Viper 5000(2-way pager) and am fairly pleased with it. I also added a few kill switches and have a removable steering wheel. I know alot of the guys here that have a Compustar are really happy with it.

Its all in the install. lmk I could help you out. Find out what kind of budget that you have to work with first. Because it can get pertty expensive. The earliy warning system is a good start as far as tracking. As long as they hid it real well. Look into the clifford or compustar. Also keep a look out on your car. Try to keep it in the garage because they now know its a easy target.

Uh, do you want to do yourself a favor and read the thread stickied at the top of the forum?

A high end alarm is no more secure than the entry level. I mean, 2 way paging is kind of nice. But the circumstances have to be just right for it to do you any good. Given the choice with a reasonable budget, I'd take a Viper 1000 or 350 or whatever, and spend the cash I save on remote start features etc on the battery backup and a tilt and/or glass break sensor. As opposed to $400+ for a Viper 791XV. Seems like you're kind of on the right path.

Nothing like overspending on security to lure you into a false sense of security. But if you got money to spend, it's better to use it on security than a bloated audio system or some euro lights.

^^^^^^^^^ so true, I have a redo because someone spent $600 on a alarm install and the brain is just thrown under the dash (poor teg). Make sure its done right so you don't have to pay twice.

I've read that thread, and I do plan on using a lot of tips from that thread. But does anyone know of a single system that does have: a hood; window; door; and tilt sensors? I'm trying to cover everything that I can. From straight up jacking to towing. And money really isn't an issue. $300 - 400 for the alarm is not a problem, and the install is the same. I've spent too much time and money on this car to skimp on security.

Thanks for all the input

You buy the alarms and add accesories that you want. Its like ordering a cheeseburger. You tell us want you want and we add it.
