to what psi is good to lower the tires when going to race

 

what kind of racing? what kind of tires? what kind of power? what type of clutch? what launch rpm? what tempurature? what kind of pavement? what humidity?

when track racing with street performance tires..dont you generally want to lower them by like 7 or 8 psi? or is that totally wrong

its cause all the time i go to the drags i always see people taking out air from their tires and there all just normal tires not slicks or anything like that

even if you drop the psi on a street tire, you still wont hook for ****. 2.4 60 fts. are not baller.
