Leak in the car on the carpet...
So I bought the car last week and its a h22 civic ek. The swap was done in november and the coolant was leaking and it was because the hose was loose. They washed and steamed dryed the carpet and it was nice and dry. Now I was cleaning out the car and under the mats i saw the carpet on both driver and passenger side and it was wet and a little sticky. I put some white toilet paper there o soak it up and it was a light yellow and a little brown in it. I am guessing the heater core is broken but how if the swap was just done 2 months ago like what could have caused this or could it be something else?
The windows dont steam up
and
The heat works fine in the car...

I would have to say they prolly fucked the heater core completly or just bent the heater core outlet or inlet. Either way if you are saying you are not loosing coolant you have nothing to worry about.
What color is the fluid? You might wonna check the a/c drain see if it's clogged.

the color is light yellow and a little bit of light brown in it and smells fishy and is sticky kind of, also i dont see why the a/c would be clogged, there is no a/c in the car, not enough room from the swap

Does the color i stated seem right to correspond with the problem were thinking of as the heater core is toast? Like I don't really under stand the heater core because it blows heat, does not leak under the car maybe just a little pin drop, so I think I should just take it into a mechanic.
take out your heatercore hoses and see if the heater core inlet and outlet are smashed. If there are there several ways to fix it. The right way to replace the heater core. The wrong ways: A loop the heater hoses and have no heat
B straigten out the heater core passages use sealant and put the hoses back on and hope it doesn't leak.
See what happens that coolant leaks out of the hoses and drips down the heatercore and goes inside your car. Happens alot when people don't know wtf they are doing when swapping the engine.
