thanks guys for taking the time to help me out...i basically need to know which trannies will work with the f23. I have decided to yank the auto and do a manual swap for the obvious reasons of the manual being able to hold more power. i know any 98 - 02 manual f23 tranny will work...but i REALLY want to get some tranny with lsd setup already perferable maybe some prelude tran if they would work?!?!...i know that mainly all the lude trannies work with the f22 engine found in the accord up till 97, but i dont know if the jump to the f23 makes that much of a difference?!?!?!?.....or would a standard f23 manual tranny with a stage three clutch be good enough?!?!?!?!?.....

incase you guys are wondering what i mean by good enough, my plans for the engine are to support hopefully 225 whp, or more if possible, by using the drag turbo kit on a mild built f23( mild meaning mainly headwork etc. p&p three angle valve job) with a mild upgraded fuel system(fuel rail, FPR, wantever else need to support 225+) and probably a custom tuned ecu by phillydynoworks.....

please get back to me guys, i am meeting with the shop that will be ripping apart my engine bay tommorrow at 12...thanks again guys....and HEy if anyone wants dibbs on my parts once i take them out let me know...aem V2 intake, DC sports header, throttle body plate spacer, generic brand battery stablizer, etc..

 

Any regular ol' F- or H-series trans will work.

 

i did some searching thorugh the forums, and yeah it did say that mostly any h series tranny will work...so i am figuring that i can use any h with an lsd right????

 

Yes sir. Just avoid any Prelude SH tranny (with the ATTS system).
