Zc axles and int shaft on Si trans?
I recently bought a set of zc axles and int shaft because i was supposed to be getting a zc trans, but that deal fell through. Now I can get a good deal on an Si trans. I have a sohc zc vtec motor that has the holes for the int. shaft. So my question is can i use the zc int shaft and axles with an Si trans?
Thanks
Thanks
short answer, yes if you had the DOHC diff ONLY, or the bigger side gears from a integra i think.
long answer, read this thread to understand why. (yes its the reverse of what youre asking, but its the same principle.)

you will need a ZC differential carrier and side gears - the intermediate shaft will not fit in a DX/Si differential carrier - the hole that the axle goes through is too small
there aren't any integra diffs or side gears i could use? because i dont have much access to zc parts
and how would i go about changing the diff and side gears? I have never opened a trans so it is all new to me
thanks for the info
