Default tranny between DC and DA

so i have a buddy that has a 92 DA, and he was planning on giving it to me due to car problems...i dont really feel like tryna work on that car since i have a 95 DC...

My car is a auto right now, and i heard the DA tranny wont work on a DC because its cable....i thought i should come here and ask from the homies at HT....i have been visiting this site for a good while now, and i have finally signed up!

but yeah if you can give me any input on if it would work (swapping tranny's)....or would it be easier to just swap the motor??

any input would be greatly appreciated! thanks

ill get some pics of my car soon

I dont know about the auto transmissions, but the manual transmissions wont swap out without a cable to hydro conversion kit.

so buying this kit would help me convert the cable on the DA to hydro for my DC??

how much would this kit usually cost? and where can it be found?

thanks for the info btw!
