I'll try not to write some long sob story and bore everyone with the details but I feel obligated to let everyone know that I will no longer be providing any sort of OEM Honda parts/accessories.

There was some mention of this in my sticky ... things got better and then worse all of a sudden. I've officially put in my two week notice at work and need to focus on cleaning things up and getting all of my issues squared away so I will not be able to take ANY further orders. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause anyone as I know many people were planning on purchasing items from me.


Its time to focus on a real career and take care of myself. I'm starting school soon, planning on majoring in visual communications and getting a minor in photography. I've got money in the bank to go to school so instead of working my life away as a parts manager at Honda I'm going to pursue something I truly love.

I'd like to extend a huge thanks to Mike, George K., and everyone else who supported what I was doing for HT. Although none of it was super lucrative for me it was nice being able to give back to the community.

Its been a great job and working for Honda is dope but at 20 years old I've got the rest of my life to think about and I cant be stuck in a dealership forever

Good for you. you should always come first. BTW, as we previously discussed I went through the same sort of thing.

A word of advice, do not feel obligated to "fix" everything since you are leaving. They will take full advantage of it, and you will not get anything for it. Good luck on your new endeavors.

 

While i'm going to miss not taking advantage of your great offers (I still need to own one before I buy the parts ), I understand.

I'd love working at a Honda dealership, but just like my jobs while at school, I know it couldn't satisfy me and my needs forever. Good luck in your education and future jobs!

In order for another door to open, one must first close, or something along those lines.....Good luck again man.

 

*sobs* ahhh man... welp its official, im getting a job at my local dealer. (I say this because now i have to go apply haha)

If I happen to get a job up there, perhaps I can someday hope to fill Tre_'s position here on HT.

(Oh and if I do, I can ship some stuff FREE, and larger items at a discount!)

I currently work for ups, as does most of my family, so discount there for large 'frieght' oriented items, and for parcel... well i have connections.

lol nice, i'm stoked about school... so far! if youre reffering to the 07 mats its a good thing you didnt order 'em because they've been on backorder for some time now

 

Happy to hear you are gonna take care of yourself over the dealership. I spent a year selling cars and that experience in itself was enough to turn me off to working anywhere in a dealership ever again. I decided to go back to school also........but to be a Nurse Anesthetist eventually lol...
