Default Homemade front lip

Wanting to find out what material is used to make it. Broke my si-r lip in half after hitting a blown tire on the highway and am looking to do the homemade one now. Any help would be appreciated.

I used base cove molding. It's a lot thicker than garden edging.

It's super easy, pretty self expainatory anyways. People love them or hate them, I don't care, I'm cheap and it's not a show car.
