Default need critique asap!

i have searched, and didnt really find any info on this, i need to get a new oil pan asap cause dad stripped stock one, so while looking for new one, ebay has the OBX oil pans, i know that obx has some bad stuff, but need more info on the oilpan, here is a link to one if you wanna know what im talking about..... my question is, should i try to find a stock cheap oil pan, or just upgrade while im at it and get the obx one? thanks!

I've heard mixed things about that OBX pan. I would say try another aftermarket pan or just replace the stocker. Should be around 100 for a new stock one.

Mugen or Spoon are both very reputible, quality peices. Of course you will pay for the quality. As far as "upgrading" with the OBX unit?? there is no such thing as "upgrading" when talking about OBX, OBX is an insult to the import world!!! OEM will FAR exceed OBXs quality. Unless you are doing some serious road/drag racing then your OEM pan will perform mone than well enough. you can also go w/ a Type R oil pan, OEM performance!!!..................I just realized all this info pertains to b-series?? I assume that's what you have?? either way, just stay away from OBX NO MATTE WHAT!!! ...and just remember, Friends dont let friends buy OBX!!

there was a thread about the obx pan here on H-T not too long ago.

i think i read that it was a leaking bastard. not to mention nothing fit correctly. and the overall quality was booty.

glad you are going with a used OEM pan. OEM means.... guaranteed to fit.
