Default Car Keeps Dying On Me

I dont know if this is the right place to post this but as a EF user I thought I would give it a shot. My prob is that my car keeps on dying for some reason. I got an optima batt and replaced the alt maybe like 4-5 months ago. I know its not the alt cause the car dont die on me when I disconnect the batt but everytime I use my car as soon as I turn it off it wont start on me. I have to jump it all the time and frankly I'm tired of it. If anyone gots some advice on maybe how to fix it I would appreciate it or if anyone knows of a good electronic shop that might fix my prob that wont rip me off or 2 months down the road the same prob occurs. In other words "Lord if you listening HELPPPP !!!!"

Go to Kragen to get your battery tested for free, and they test alternators. Just because your alt. puts out enough to run your car, it might not be putting out enough to charge the battery.

it's not out of the question for a new alternator to take a dump after 4-5 months.

optimas aren't immune to failure either.....

but the good news is they're both relatively easy to test

Could be the main relay. Its very common problem just listen for the relay clicks when you go to ignition two while cycling the key to start. one portion powers the fuel pump and the other powers the ecu. Just becuase the check engine light comes on for a few seconds and goes away during main relay operation does not necessarily mean the main relay is good. Listen or feel for the two clicks the main relay is in the top left portion under the dash and I beleive has a 8 pin connector. I think they are 40$ from dealership and should be in stock.
