Default Car wont start no lights or anything

Ok, so this last month my car has been starting kinda hard. Not starting right away and kinda stumbling/running rough when it finally started but then after a second it ran fine. Then I let it sit for a day then I went to try and start it and it just kept turning over. But when I gave it gas it would sound like it was just about to start. It was turning over fast and it was just right there. But it didnt go. So I took out the spark plugs. All of them looked fine except number one. It had some carbon build up and oil on it. So I figure the valve seal might be out on it letting oil to drip down while it sat. I did a comp. check not to long ago and they were all fine, thats why I think its a valve seal. So I cleaned up all the spark plugs and put them back in and it still was doing the same thing.

So I checked all the fuses and they looked fine. I have a spare set of spark plug wires so I throw those on there and I try to start it and it turns over maybe 3 times then i hear a rapid cli cli click and all my lights and everything go off. No turning over, no warning lights, no nothin. So i take the key out and then just a second later i hear a click and a beep. So i put the key on and there are warning lights. I try to turn it over and then i hear the rapid cli cli click again and then i take the key out and put it back in and still no warning lights. So im thinking my battery is eaither mega dead or something else. Why do you guys think it wont start? Any suggestions would help.

I don't know if this will help but my brothers legend had this same problem exactly what you were describing. After hours and hours of troubleshooting the problem was his negative terminal was so rusted that the car couldnt get grounded. He always had bad starts or starts where it is about to catch but doesnt. We ordered a new OEM negative terminal and it fixed the problem. You be surprise on how something so little can cause such a problem. How does your terminals look?

the fast clicking sounds like a weak battery very low, charge it. its a known problemon hondas that the main relay located drivers side kick panel go bad, especially when its hot outside, just for giggle tap the relay while cranking with the fully charged battery if it starts up, replace the relay.

yeah, i figured the battery was really low. And there is no way my negative battery cable is rusted and there is no carosion on it. My engine bay is spotless. No rust out where i live either.

I will get my jumpers out tomorrow and see if my cranking power was just too low or what. But the battery is pretty new too. So its gota be something else. I will try and see if the main relay is the problem. Ive located it before thinking it was a problem but it just turned out to be a blown fuse. I sure kicked my self for that cuz the main relay isnt too fun to get to. Thanks for the help so far guys, keep it commin.

lol. Yeah nice avitar to you too!

I can check the grounds again and see if any are loose or disconected. I will recharge the battery. But beyond that I have no idea what could be wrong. Im not sure the igniter would go out withing 8 months of having the dizzy. The starter obviously works. Wouldnt the spark plugs be working also if when I pushed the gas the starting would go faster. Its at the brink of starting when I push on the gas, I wonder if its getting enough gas. Injectors pluged maybe? Fuel pump not working to its full potential? The fuel filter is also a couple months old as well so that shouldnt be a problem.

Did you dissassemble the distributor to check everything out?

How'd the search for a loose ground/cable go?

I finally got to work on my car. I checked for grounds and they were all fine that i could see. I switched over my main relay with a spare i had and it still didnt start. I havent taken off my dizzy, but im not thinking its that. But it would be my luck that its the last thing i check and thats what it really is. Any more help would be much apreciated.
