Hi all, I am about to buy a Civic LX in LA areas. New to this, and wish to know a typical price (best for out-door price). I will be appreciated for any comments or suggestions as well.

$17-18k with shipping charges + TTL. Hopefully they won't mark up the LX models like they do the Si

 

If you ever have ANY desire for ANY sort of performance without going FI, please just suck it up and buy an SI for a few more thousand.

I made the mistake of buying an LX (which came to be only ~2k less than some people here spent on SIs) and I regret it. Even though it's my wife's car, it's very annoying looking back, knowing I could of traveled up to the cities and probably gotten an SI for just a bit more, and not having done it.
