Default civic owners with radio in lower pocket- is it annoying?

I feel like having the radio in the lower din pocket where the cup holders will be at would be really annoying, especially if you don't have a radio.
EDIT: i have no idea what i was trying to say WTF

I don't drive like a "gangsta" but i do lean back and I have short arms.

Having a radio down there would be annoying if you don't have a radio? It wouldn't be annoying because you have no radio. :headscratch:

I've got my deck mounted in the pocket just above the cup holders and I personally like how it is. It's alot more secure, less attention grabbing and my deck comes with a remote so if I'm really not feeling like leaning down I can just click da remote. It did take a bit of getting used to when I first did the install but it doesn't bug me now.

i don't mind it all. i did it because of the added security. it's not as convenient but it's not gonna kill you every time you need to switch tracks or radio station.

well it wouldnt be SO bad i guess if u had a remote. because i was thinking of doing the same thing. it would be a good safety feature i guess because by the cup holder is probably the last place a person trying to make a quick steal of the radio would look. with remote without complications of cups in the way

yeah i'm tempted, since i now have an ipod adapter and can control it all though the deck, and the remote.
