whats the proper way to clean out an iac valve for code 14??

 

take it off and spray it with carb cleaner in both the holes the hit it with compressed air and keep doing it till your satisfied.

brake parts cleaner.

 

ya i use brake cleaner then use a air chuck and spray it out

also depending on which brake parts cleaner you use, make sure to not let it contact gaskets.. I've seen it eat through them..
