Default d15b1 vs b15b2

hey all i dont want anything bout do a swap to a b series or zc stuff......all i wanna know is wht the diffrence is between the b1 and b2 i have a b1 in my stock car that i race at a local dirt track and i need to keep the stuff stock.......but if a d15b2 has better stuff on it i may take the b2 stuff and place it on the b1 just wondering wht the diffs were is all thanks

Motor wise: The b2 has a slightly larger cam that is all.

The dx tranny is better then an STD tranny and the

ECU a bit better mapping.

Damn near same though

ok i have a dx tranny in the car already.....and a pm9 comp i belive so ur sayin the pm5 is better?????.......wht bout the intakes are they diff???......i also have the NORMAL exhasut manifold where the cat is under the car lol .........also how can i get the hp up to the same as the b2 why is it less?????

Yes it would be fore you and you have the STD/hf mani ehhh no real reason to bother imo if you can't upgrade to after market. Both motors are junky DPI.

ARE THE INTAKES DIFFRENT....I ALSO HEARD THE B1'S ONLY OPENS 1/2 -3/4 THE WAY AS TO THE B2 OPENS FULLY......NO SAY I CHANGED MY INTAKE COMP AND TRANNY AND TO THE MANIFOLD THAT HAS THE CAR UNDER THE CAR WOULD THAT MAKE THE SAME HP AS THE B2???????.......THANKS FOR ALL UR HELP BY THE WAY........I MEAN THE MOTOR ISNT ALL STOCK THE HEAD IS PORTED TO THE MAX SAME AS THE EXHASUST MANIFOLD LOL SHHH

why not get a d15b7? or a d15b vtec?

if it jsut has to say D15... go with something a little better.
or do the rules state, stock exhaust, stock intake manifold?
