fender rollers?
You're basically just trying to fold the inner lip of the fender up and into the fender itself for additional clearance.
Using a bat, you basically jack the car up and get it onto some jackstands and wedge the bat between the tire and the inner fender and push along the entire thing util it gets rolled up. You have to go slowly and you may crack the paint, some people will recommend that youheat the fender paint to keep from breaking the paint.

That's the exact roller that I have. You don't necessarily need to use heat if you're just going to fold the lip inwards. If you're pulling the actual fender out, then yes, use some heat. Be warned, using too much heat will boil the paint off the other side.

one would think that would weaken structural integrity, making the fender flimsy/leaving a sharp edge.

did you roll urs? theres a lot of crap in the way besides the fender lip... did you remove your wheel well plastics also?

And remove how many important spot welds holding the quarter to the wheel well not to mention creating a void for dirt and water to enter.

I was talking about the rear, you only have to cut the top most section where it would hit the wheel, it is still welded together it does not separate, and if you are worried about rust just use some primer and some paint, and the point of this is so the tire doesnt rub so why would rubbage be fatal
, if you cut it off there is more room than with the lip folded over, its just another option maybe not 4 you. I have seen this done more times than I have seen rolled fenders.

im not downing that idea, i heard that too. it just seems like alot more work... i dont think ill need the space in the rear, im conserned with the front and turnability... what ever i do ill try and post pics

I cut my fenders inner lip with a wizard wheel, structural rigidity really fellows.....lol. Are fenders are weak and flemisy to begin with. Cutting the innter lip off them isn't going to do anything. I'm talking about the front fenders and not the rear. It doesn't matter if you cut them or roll them it would still schread through your tire no matter what. The only difference is do want a smooth cut through your tire or do want a rough cut. If your bottoming out that bad, you have bigger issues to worry about though......
