distributor keeps dying ? what to check for ?
hello
i got a 91 crx with stock d16a6
i have put 3 distributors in already seems to keep frying the coil..
ii have checked all the wires and see if there was any open wires and no there isnt
could it possibly be ECU ??
any input would be appreciated

Are these 3 completely NEW distributors? Or are you just putting in parts? If you are just putting parts in it then you need to put in an ignitor and a coil.
When the ignitor is bad it will kill the coil.
When the ignitor is bad it will kill the coil.
