What type of springs for CRX?
I've been looking at several different types of springs for my CRX. I have new KYB GR2 on them but want to lower the car some to reduce the 5-foot gap around the tires and also improve cornering but still keep it reasonable comfortable for a daily driver.
I've looked at Eibach's sportline kit and that is the one I'm most set on because it lowers around 1.7" - F/ 1.5" - R and the have a lifetime warranty. I've also looked at Tein and H&R. Also, do I need a camber kit or do you only need one if your lowering the car more than 2.5"? I don't have much suspension experience so I could use all the input and your experience I can get. Also I will be sticking with my 14" alloys (from a '97 HX) with 195/65R14's on them. Thanks for all your input in advance.

I had a question, r u going to be drag, road, autocross, street use for the crx?
the reason is it all depends on how much of a drop you may want.
I have tokico blues wit eibach pro kits.

Eibach Sportline all the way! The drop is perfect but not too slammed. I've got Ingalls kit on all four corners but you really only need the front if you get them.

The crx is my daily driver so it'll be only street. I want something that is still comfortable to ride in. Eibach also has a lifetime warranty which is another plus. The eibach sportsline is suppose to drop about 1.7" - Front and 1.5" - Rear, and the eibach prokit is suppose to be around 1.3" - F and 1.1" - R. I know the prokit is a softer rate which would be better for a daily driver. I just want to make sure I get a set I'm happy with because I don't want to have to do suspension work again.
The spring rate is fine, I've got KYB AGX so you can adjust the rate on the shocks which helps if you want to go really stiff or not. Great combo if you ask me and after 7 years on the shocks/springs no complaints.

the best way is to ride wit a friend on a the set up that u r interested. I recently changed to a bit softer ride on tokico blues. I went to oem stock replacement. my rex is a daily driver. the drop is eibach prokit. great look & great ride for a daily driver.

But I was wondering if I can put 88 crx shocks and springs on a 89 crx without any problems. I hear the back ones are different....
will they still work?

Not unless you use the 88 style LCAs. If not they will not fit.
