Ok,
On the ED Crx's sway bars connect to the LCA via a striaght bolt.
On EF JDM Crx's (EF8 SiR) they connect to the LCA via two ball joints connected that face in different directions.
Does anyone know how to fit a whiteline ED front swaybar onto an EF.
Basically the general shape of the ED sway is the same as the EF.
But the ends face in different directions.
Here are some pics:
What i am thinking, if u look at my crappy drawing.. is get a connected ball joint that is inline rather then different directions. See 1 is what i am thinking.. and 2 is what we have..
SO yeah.. any info!?

I got Tanabe ST on mine... its the same problem..

This was my solution... drove around with it for like 5 months... works great!
they are made of 8mm steel

apart from that elegant but custom fabrication, this is your best bet.
however SiR LCA do seem to come with a beefier bushing than my USDM front lca comes with. it might be worth trying to keep the SiR LCA.
actually, i think DC GSR integras comes with a half straight bushing and half balljoint. im not sure if it will line up. its worth looking into, if it works, that would definately be the best bet!

see #6. looks like it might not work since its made to be the reverse, where its straight onto the LCA and right angle balljoint at the swaybar. where your problem is the opposite. it could be flipped, but probably not long enough threads. hmmm...
you guys with those EF front swaybars wanna sell your old one to me? i have SiR LCA waiting to be used....

Well the ED swaybar ends are on top of the lca.. so a balljoint endlink that has the two ends facing the same way wont work.
I hear a couple of things might not be a direct replacement with the ED LCA. Like the tie bar only fitting 1 bolt.
Kinch: Do you have any more of those brackets and would you say they are satisfactory?
CBURKE: So you are saying DA front sway bars are a direct fit for EF8's?????

DA front swaybars are the same fitment as our USDM front swaybars. theyre 23mm but hollow. i couldnt tell the difference between that and the sedan 19mm solid bar. but youll still have the same issue with the regular ED swaybar.

ok cheers
so there seems to be no direct AFTERMARKET replacement for EF8 from swaybars..
maybe something in japan (which wont be cheap) or something custom...
correct?

use a female heim to connect to the control arm and then for the top just use a bolt of proper length with the sway bar bushings on it that will screw into the heim, seems very easy, I have something like this on my rear swaybar

Well i dont think after market joints will work..
maybe a mod like the guy from denmark will work..
here is a diagram why i have come to the conclusion that joints wont work.
