Default Making a B18c head flow better

Right now i have a GSR head that is completly stock... its going on to a built (for turbo) GSR block just wanting to know what are best (efficient) mods you can do to the head, and not burn a huge hole in my bank account at the same time.

I know everyone is going to tell me to P&P it but that cost big money, what kind of Cams would be good for a turbo gsr?

My goal is to hit atleast 300whp (i know thats nothing Uber crazy) but this is going to be my daily driver

The block:
sleeved
eagle rods
cp 9-1 pistons

I tried to search but couldnt exactly find what i was looking for... any input would be appericaited

Stock cams or ITR/CTR cams with good springs/retainers

You don't need to port the head to make 300 WHP, people have made 300 WHP on stock D-series heads, nevermind a vtec b-series head. People have done 600++ on stock heads with nothing more than springs/retainers

for 300whp u didnt even need sleeves pistons/rods, But since you got that might as well go for alittle more power Stock head is fine for ur goals as stated above

I said atleast 300whp... anything over that is cool, i want to atleast hit that. I just figured 300whp wouldnt be to bad for daily driving (thought/input welcomed)

i would get spring retainers before i get itr cams. but thats just me, u can make some great power, and rev higher reliably. with your built bottom end, and a spring/ret top end thats easy for 500+reliably. overkill for a setup like yours but im sure u will want to turn it up when u know your engine can handle it. as long as your turbo can push more.

supertechs are good spring/retainers i think for a good price. if u have some money left over pick up a set of itr cams.

Exactly. I want a STRONG powerfull motor that i can run a good amount of boost on withouth worrying about breaking anyting, And for Daily driving I can just simiply turn the boost down.

The best and cheapest mod would be a Valve job from a shop that does it right and some springs and retainers. We send our heads to Portflow for this and sell the Supertech parts. If you need any help with something like this, let me know.

I was already planning on getting a vavle job done, heres a pic of my buddys b16a head before it went onto a Ls/Vtec http://tinypic.com/view/?pic=29gmmn7

So supertechs spring and retainers. and possibly ITR cams FTW?

...how much do ITR cams usually go for?
...anthor side question for you guys, i was planning on painting my IC black. Would radiator paint be the correst type of paint for this?

ITR cams are usually ~$300 used, depends though, sometimes you get lucky and find them for cheaper or sometimes you can't find any for less than 350, just look around
