i just swaped my y7 head and intake mani for a y8 and aput in a stage 1 cam ..there is a loud backfiring noise where my headers meet the exhuast.. was their any other uprgrades i should have goten cause of the camshaft?? ora ny ideas y there is a backfire

 

did you bother to check the timing?

 

yes i adjusted the timing

 

plugs fire order, timing,, and i think sometimes too much fuel could cause a back fire

 

i dont think its geting enough fuel cuz whenever i brake it stalls and it bogs dwon easy 2

 

maybe a compression test,,
