WAS DRIVING MY HATCH AND SUDDENLY IT DIED, PULL IT OVER AND CHECKED IT SEEMS TO CRANK PRETTY WELL BUT WONT START ALSO CHECKED FOR A SPARK AND NO SPARK IS BEEN PRODUCED SO IF I CAN GET ANY HELP PLEASE MY HEAD IS A D16Z6 STILL INTERNAL COIL

 

take off the distributor cap, and see if the rotor came off. some times the screw backs itsself out. that would be the first thing id look at. hope that helps

 

checked every thing seems to be ok could it be the coil .... or the igniter how do i check if its good or not?

 

yeah , most likely it is the coil or ingniter.. happened to me 3x. once it was the rotor. 2nd time the coil... and 3rd time the igniter...huh..i must have really good luck!

 

Might be the timing belt? When mine snapped it felt like it was really close to starting but upon closer investigation the belt had snapped

 

REPLACE IGNITER STILL WONT START I CHECKED IT TODAY, MY INJECTORS ARE NOT WORKING NO SPARK AND MY ECU ISNT FLASHING LIKE IF NO POWER HOWEVER IT CRANKS BUT WONT START THE MAIN RELAY WAS NEVER HOOKED UP THE GUY THAT OWNED MY CRX HAD PUT A FUSE ON THE PLUG WITH A PIECE OF WIRE LIKE MAKING SORT OF A JUMPER ON THE PLUG HOWEVER BEFORE THIS HAPPENED TO ME I WAS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY STARTING IT MADE CLICK SOUND BUT DIDNT START .. EVER SINCE SHE DIED RUNNING ICAN CRANK IT AND TRIES TO START COULD IT BE THE SLOPPY JUMPER IT HAD ON THE MAIN RELAY PLUG PSSS IHAVENT TRIED WITH A A NEW MAIN RELAY MY ECU IS A PR3 PLEASE HELP BROTHERS

 

new main relay for a start. de hack the wiring and go another 100.000 trouble free miles.

 

check all your grounds ..especially the one going from chassis to trans, also try another ecu ...just to make sure thats not whats bad.
