Baffle or windage tray? The windage tray (that bolts to the mains) is different then the baffles in the oil pan. The oil pan baffles are to keep oil from moving side to side/front to back in turns/heavy acceleration (and the moroso does a great job at that). The stock windage tray is to keep oil from splashing up and hitting the rotating assembly (crank, pistons/rods, etc). It also keeps the return oil going into the oil pan smoothly vs falling directly down and causing splashing/kick up. Thus, you'll need the windage tray.
