I'm getting my WHOLE front-end replaced on my '98 Civic EX. (everything from the bumper, fenders, hood, and headlights). Since, I'm gonna get a '99 front bumper, fenders, and hood. I'm wondering that if '99 JDM headlights would fit with the same bindings as the '98 ones??

I know the REAR bumper fits identically from '96-'00. But if i replace the entire frontend, would the front bolt-on as well?

99-00 conversion = 99-00 bodykit pieces
96-98 front end = 96-98 bodykit pieces.

99-00 headlights will fit since you have a 99-00 front end. laaaa di da.

but from what ive read on here...ull need the 99+ bumper..fenders..hood..
n seems like u got all of that...yes..the jdm ctr light will fit

 

So, the '99-00 parts (front bumper, fender, hood, lights) should fit a '96-98 Civic if i get ALL OF THEM?

I have a friend that worked at a bodyshop before. He said that the headlights bolt onto the subframe, and the brackets are different between the '96-98 and '99-'00 Civic headlights. He said even the sideskirts bolts are different, even though they look identical. Is that true??
