Default Dead Spot?

Anybody ever noticed a "dead spot" in the power band? I'm not sure if its when I downshift or upshitft to 3rd, if I'm not giving it a lot of gas, I'll sometimes feel a short lag in power around 4k RPM.

Probably the DBW system. Takes a split second to induce accleeration

It's more than a split second...more like a solid half a second.

Yep it's the DBW system. Kinda sucks but you learn to get used to it after a while. If it's possible i'm probably gonna try and get mine converted to cable throttle.

You may be right, but it feels like it's more than that. I mean, why at that RPM, in that gear? I've felt slight throttle lag that accompanies the DBW, but this feels like its more.

If it's isolated to that gear and that RPM level i would say take it to the dealer and have them check it out.

Yeah I notice the power lag. But it's through all gears. Lousy DBW. Anybody got a status on cable throttle conversion capability and what parts are needed??

Lousy dealership won't do the reflash for me. They say the update is already on the vehicle even though it's in the VIN range for the reflash program. Lazy punks!

I would speak to a service manger instead of lazy punks and tell them your gonna call Honda and tell them about how you are being mistreated as a cunstomer, or find a different dealer.
